This is where people go when a 3-day round trip to the Sahara is too much. Instead of soft dunes you get endless beige, moon-like stony hills, with the snowy Atlas behind on clear days. The usual format: leave in the afternoon, ride quad bikes, take a camel at sunset, then eat tagine in a Berber tent with music and a fire show before heading back at night. Plenty of camps also offer overnight glamping.
