The island hosts the plant that bottles Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta for the Maldives. The surf spot Cokes is named after it: a fast, hollow right-hander for experienced surfers, in season roughly April to November. Factory visits are most reliably booked through your guesthouse, and photos are not allowed inside. The island is small enough to walk around and has plenty of local guesthouses.
