One of the oldest restaurants in Madrid, open since 1839. A food shop sits on the ground floor and small dining rooms with mirrors and red walls upstairs. It is known for the consommé once served by the cup from a samovar. Cocido is the signature dish, and formally dressed waiters serve it at the table.
