Opened at Calle de la Victoria 12 in 1906 and run by the same family for four generations. Gambas al ajillo arrive still spitting in small clay dishes of olive oil, garlic and chilli. You stand at the bar, mop the oil with bread, and finish with a glass of the house's sweet wine. The original is tiny and mostly standing; there are branches at Victoria 9 and Núñez de Arce 5 nearby.
