The first name in Macau souvenirs: almond cookies. Red-signed branches line the climb to the Ruins of St Paul's, so you can't miss one. Despite the name, the cookie is a firm, crumbly bean-flour biscuit studded with almonds, with a hint of cinnamon. Almost everything can be sampled, and the samples alone can fill you up.
