Along Portobello Road running north from Notting Hill Gate; antiques stalls cluster at the southern end

Pink, sky-blue and mint terraced houses line the road, and below them run stalls of silver spoons, teacups and old cameras. Saturday brings the most stalls; on weekdays it's mostly the permanent shops and souvenir stores, and much quieter. The Notting Hill Bookshop, famous from the film, is on Blenheim Crescent, with a queue for photos in front of its blue sign. Tote bags from the Daunt Books shop nearby make a popular souvenir.
