This red-brick palace is where Queen Victoria spent her childhood, and it is still a royal residence today, with neat gardens and a pond on the park side. Inside you get Victoria's early years and royal dress displays. The Queen's State Apartments are closed for major work until spring 2027; a special exhibition is included in the ticket for now. It is an easy walk on into Hyde Park afterwards.
