Half of an 1890s market hall turned into a food court. Around 20-odd restaurant counters and bars ring long shared tables in the middle, each run by a well-known Lisbon chef, seafood house, burger joint or custard-tart bakery. You order at a counter, take a buzzer and hunt for a seat. It's easy to graze from an octopus hot dog to a seafood platter, which is why so many people end up here on their first night. The other half of the building is still the old fish and produce market, open in the mornings.
