The cable car climbs over tropical jungle along the ridge and then, all of a sudden, disappears into cloud. At 2,000 metres the summit is one giant resort of hotels, a casino, the SkyAvenue mall and the SkyWorlds theme park, and it's cool enough that you'll want long sleeves. Halfway up there's a stop at Chin Swee Caves Temple, clinging to the hillside, where you can hop off. It's a popular one-day escape from KL's heat.
