A beach resort about ten minutes from the airport, right at the end of Tanjung Aru beach, so evenings mean watching the sun drop from the pool bar. Boats to the Tunku Abdul Rahman islands leave from the resort's own marina, which saves the trip to Jesselton Point in town. It opened in 1993 and was renovated in 2017. It is also the priciest place on this list, and rates climb toward the holidays.
