A sprawling hilltop compound with several museum buildings and an open-air heritage village. The village lines up a Rungus longhouse and other Sabah ethnic houses, and the Islamic Civilisation Museum and a locomotive display sit in the same grounds. You can walk the lot in under half a day. Tour operators say the main galleries are closed, so check before going.
