Mangrove reserve in Likas, north-east of the centre

Some 24 hectares of mangrove survive in the middle of the city, with about 1.4 km of wooden walkway over it. Mudskippers hop across the mud, herons and egrets stalk the edges, and migratory birds pass through. There is a bird hide and an observation tower, and the loop takes around 45 minutes.
