Top of Bukit Bendera behind the centre; the walking trail starts beside the Atkinson Clock Tower

A lookout on the hill directly behind downtown. Below you are the city blocks and the port, and beyond them the park islands, Gaya and Sapi among them, strung across the sea. It's a low hill, an easy add-on to a city walk, and at dusk the sky over the water turns red. A 500 m boardwalk trail through the forest from beside the clock tower opened in late 2025.
