White walls under blue and gold domes, standing in a man-made lagoon so it looks like it's floating. Built in 1997, it's the largest mosque in Sabah, with a prayer hall for 12,000. On a still morning the lagoon throws back a perfect upside-down copy. To go inside you borrow a long robe at the entrance and leave your shoes at the door.
