Address
1-3-7 Motomachi-dori, Chuo-ku (facing Nankinmachi's central square)

Opened in 1915 by its founder Cao Songqi, this is the self-styled 'original butaman' shop. The buns are small, two bites each, with a soy-seasoned pork filling and a slightly chewy skin. There's always a line by Nankinmachi's square, so you can't miss it. The queue looks long but the steamers keep up and it moves quickly.
