About 270 m east to west and 110 m north to south, Nankinmachi packs Chinese restaurants and street stalls into a few blocks. A red pavilion marks the central square, with the Choan-mon gate on the east side and the Seian-mon on the west. The local way is to buy one thing at a time from the stalls (pork buns, xiaolongbao, Peking duck wraps) and eat as you walk; there's always a queue at the original buta-man shop. It's far smaller than Yokohama's Chinatown, so a lap takes half an hour, and it runs straight into the Motomachi shopping arcade.
