Dozens of warehouses that once held dock cargo now house galleries, indie bookshops, design stores and cafés. Oversized sculptures sit in the gaps between buildings, so there is always something to photograph around the next corner. The old rail sidings have become bike lanes and lawns, and late in the day the harbour turns orange. Each block has its own mood; the best plan is to wander into whatever door is open.
