The water is shallow and clear enough that you can see the sand below, a turquoise stretch of coast. Cafes and restaurants line the road right behind the beach, so you can go from the sea to a table in a few steps. The shallows draw plenty of families with kids. Weekend afternoons get packed, so aim for early morning or sunset.
