On the waterfront of Ortaköy Square, right under the Bosphorus Bridge

A Baroque mosque tucked right against the water with the Bosphorus Bridge behind it. The standard move is to buy a kumpir at the square and sit on the seawall looking at the mosque. A kumpir is a baked potato piled with toppings, enough for a meal. Weekends bring a crafts market and crowds. After dark the bridge lights come on and the mood shifts.
