A grand old café on the Höhematte, the lawn in the middle of Interlaken where paragliders land. It's been here since 1818, with a chocolate tradition dating to the late 19th century. The confiserie counter is lined with pralines and cakes, and from the terrace you look across the grass to the Jungfrau. Ideal for resting your legs over cake and coffee after a mountain day, and the chocolate boxes make tidy gifts.
