Counted among Interlaken's big three hostels for backpackers. It has been around long enough that one guest who slept in a dorm here in 1988 recently came back, decades later, to a twin room. There's a shared kitchen, so shopping at Coop or Lidl and cooking is the daily routine, and the bar and beer garden get loud in the evening. Paragliding companies list it as a pickup point, which tells you how central it is to the activity scene.
