Foster Botanical Garden

A century-old garden of giant trees by Chinatown

Hours
Daily 9am-4pm; closed Dec 25 and Jan 1
Tickets
Non-resident adults $5
Address
180 N Vineyard Blvd, on the northern edge of Chinatown

Planted from the 1850s on land once owned by a German doctor, this city-run garden hides giant trees a century old right downtown. Cannonball trees, palms and an orchid house line the paths. It makes an easy pause between Chinatown food stops, and one loop takes about an hour.
