A claypot rice place at the start of the Temple Street night market that has spread into the neighbouring shopfronts. Rice is still cooked in clay pots over charcoal; at the table you drizzle the house soy sauce, put the lid back for a minute, then stir in the crust. Features on TV street-food shows and Mark Wiens's channel bring plenty of tourists, so there's an English photo menu. The oyster omelette is famous too.
