Every evening this street on the An Hoi side, one bridge over from the old town, turns into a market. Stalls on both sides hang so many round silk lanterns overhead that a lot of people come to shop and leave with nothing but photos. It's lanterns, rattan bags, elephant pants and fridge magnets, with banh mi, grilled skewers and mango desserts on carts in between. Visitors keep saying the same thing: cheaper than Da Nang's Han Market, a bit flimsier, and more fun to haggle in.
