A huge open-air stage built on a river island, where several hundred performers retell Hoi An's trading-port past in song, dance and light. It's told in scenes more than dialogue, so not knowing Vietnamese is not a big problem. The island park opens at 4pm with mini shows and replica old streets, and the main show starts at 8pm. The moment that gets the biggest reaction is when dozens of boats, lanterns and lights on the water all move at once.
