The museum gathers women who carried supplies down wartime trails, vendors who still work the dawn markets, and wedding dress from highland villages under one roof. Photos, objects and recorded voices carry the story, so you can follow without Vietnamese. The vendor section lets you lift a shoulder pole and bamboo baskets yourself, which changes how you see the Old Quarter afterwards. English labels are good; 90 minutes is plenty, and it doubles as an air-conditioned break on a hot day.
