The beach behind the hotels on Pale San Vitores Road (Hotel Road), Tumon; Gun Beach at the north end, Ypao Beach at the south

Step out past the hotel pool and you're on Tumon Bay. The reef holds the open ocean back, so you can wade a long way out and still be waist-deep, and the moment your mask goes under there are striped yellow fish around your ankles. Two Lovers Point closes off the bay to the north, and at sunset the sky over that headland goes from pink to orange. The whole bay is a marine preserve, so no fishing and no taking coral or shells.
