You drive a long way through jungle, park, walk out from under the trees, and suddenly there's dazzling white sand and turquoise water. It's a wildlife refuge, so no hotels, no snack stand, just surf and birds. Plenty of visitors say the water is a shade clearer than Tumon's. Beyond the reef the current is strong and there are no lifeguards, so treat it as a place to paddle, take pictures and lie around rather than swim far.
