On the shore by Route 4 in Inarajan (Inalåhan) village, south-east Guam

A low wall of black volcanic rock runs along the shore, and behind it a string of wide pools fill with seawater. Outside, surf smashes white on the rock; inside, the water is calm and clear, with so many fish they brush your hands. Local kids leaping off the concrete diving platform are the classic sight. It's a village shoreline in the south, nothing like the resort beaches up north.
