A small museum in a restored merchant house, directly across from Kushida Shrine. A master weaver works a loom on the floor, and you can watch Hakata-ori being made from arm's length. During the demonstration slots you can try the hand loom yourself. Volunteer guides also give free tours in the afternoon. Pair it with Kushida Shrine for a 90-minute outing.
