The World's End

The World's End

Haggis pie and a pint at the old city wall

Address
2-8 High Street

The name goes back to the 16th century, when the pub stood by the city wall and everything beyond it was the world's end. Today it is an old pub on the lower High Street of the Royal Mile. The haggis and potato pie comes under melted cheddar with a whisky sauce. Haggis fritters, beer-battered fish and steak and ale pie also come up often.
