Bateel is an upmarket date company and one of Dubai's most famous date brands. Inside The Dubai Mall there is a café (Lower Ground, by the Waterfall) and a separate boutique (Lower Ground), so you can sit down in one and buy gifts in the other. Dates stuffed with pistachio, orange or chocolate are popular gifts, and Bateel sells its own Dubai chocolate (pistachio kunafa bars).
