Arne Jacobsen designed this 20-storey hotel for SAS, and it opened in 1960 as Copenhagen's first skyscraper (Wikipedia). The Egg and Swan chairs were first made for it. Only Room 606 keeps the 1960 look, green furniture and wood panelling; it's no longer bookable, but staff will show you if you ask. Upper-floor rooms look over Tivoli and the city's rooftops.
