Beside 231 Wuhouci Dajie, Wuhou, running along the east wall of Wuhou Shrine

A short old-style street that bends along the wall of Wuhou Shrine; around 7pm the red lanterns under every eave come on together and the whole place changes mood. Stalls sell Sichuan skewers, bingfen jelly and 'three cannons' rice cakes, alongside shadow-puppet and sugar-painting craftsmen and a few pondside teahouses. It's short, so most people walk it after the shrine and stay for dinner.
