Address
Chocolate Hills Complex, Poblacion Norte, Carmen, Bohol; the tarsier sanctuary is in Corella

Climb the 200-odd steps of the viewing deck and around 1,200 identical round hills roll away in every direction. In the dry season the grass turns brown and they really do look like upturned chocolates; in the wet season they're more green jelly. On the way you stop at the tarsier sanctuary in Corella to see the palm-sized primates, all eyes, asleep on their branches. Most people do it as a full-day tour with a Loboc River lunch cruise, the man-made mahogany forest and a butterfly farm. It's a tight day, first ferry in and last ferry out of Cebu, but it works as a day trip.
