A koshary chain with branches all over Cairo; this one, on a corner by AUC's old campus near Tahrir Square, is the most convenient for visitors. Eat in or take away. What locals praise is the sauce: a sharp shatta and a punchy garlic vinegar that make the dish taste brighter. Know going in that there is not much else on the menu.
