If Haeundae is open sea, Gwangalli is the sea with a bridge parked right in front of it. The 7.4 km Gwangan Bridge spans the whole view, its lights shift colour after dark, and every raw-fish restaurant, pub and café along the front angles its windows toward it. On Saturday nights the M Drone Light Show sends hundreds of drones up over the water to draw words and pictures in the sky. The move is to sit on the sand with a can of beer; the show runs about 12 minutes, and then everyone leaves at once.
