It started life as a drama set, but the red-roofed chapel at the end of the breakwater is now one of the most photographed spots in Busan. Waves reach almost to your shoes, and the classic shot puts chapel and sea in one frame. The inside is a gallery, though repairs sometimes keep it shut. Most visitors use it as the first stop of a Gijang day trip, with the fishing village right next door.
