A low grey box stands where the Gestapo and SS leadership had their offices. Photos and documents walk you through how the Nazis took power and organised terror, with thorough English and German texts that easily eat up two hours. Outside, a stretch of the Berlin Wall still lines Niederkirchnerstraße, and an open-air exhibition runs along the excavated cellar walls below it. It's free, so it slots in neatly after Checkpoint Charlie.
