The US built a listening station here on a hill of wartime rubble, and today a handful of white domes stand covered in graffiti. Clap inside a dome and the echo rolls around in layers, which is the local party trick. From the upper decks you can see over the forest to the TV tower in the city centre. Walls get repainted constantly, so the art is never quite the same twice. Wear sturdy shoes; the approach is a woodland track.
