The round Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, three tiers of blue tiles on a white marble base, is bigger and deeper in colour than in photos. Ming and Qing emperors prayed for harvests here; walk the 360-metre raised causeway south and you reach the Echo Wall and the Circular Mound Altar. The park opens at 6am, and early on the long corridor fills with retirees doing tai chi, line dancing and choir practice. It got even busier after the US and Chinese leaders walked here together in May 2026.
