A 518-room hotel on the corner where Chang'an Avenue meets Wangfujing, built into the Oriental Plaza mall (opened 2001, renovated 2015, per Trip.com). You walk past a fountain into a wide lobby, and underground passages lead to Wangfujing station on Line 1 and the mall. The pool comes up more than anything else in reviews: a resort-style indoor pool that kids treat as a playground. Tiananmen Square is walkable, which is why so many reviews come from families travelling with parents.
