This is where Gaudí rehearsed the structures he later used in the Sagrada Família: tilted basalt columns, arches worked out with weighted strings hung upside down, windows glazed with broken tile. Only the lower church was ever built, which makes it feel raw and unfinished. The factory village among pine trees is worth a stroll too.
