Boat noodles were sold from canal boats, so they come in small bowls easy to hold on the water. The classic is nam tok, a dark, thick broth enriched with blood. Pranakorn is a chain whose original sits in the Victory Monument boat-noodle alley, with branches in malls across the city. The Samyan Mitrtown branch never closes: choose broth, noodle and meat, then stack up three or four little bowls. The coconut custard left on the table is only charged if you eat it.
