Renzo Piano built a whole hill on a flat stretch of coast. Climb the gentle grassy slope to the glass lookout and you get the Aegean on one side and the Acropolis far off on the other. Below runs a long canal with olive-tree gardens and walking paths beside it. Entry to the park is free; the opera house and library sit inside the complex.
