A 123-room chain hotel 2 km west of the square, in the same building as a shopping mall. It opened in 2011 and was renovated in 2023. On our sample date it cost about half what the central five-stars did, which is why people pick it. There's a Korean restaurant, Hansang, in-house, and Gandan Monastery is walkable. If most of your plans are around the square, expect a taxi each time.
