Opened in 1887, this is Singapore's most famous hotel. A major restoration finished in 2019 and it now has 115 rooms. The white facade, red roofs and palm-lined courtyards are all still there, and nearly every review praises the butler service. Plenty of visitors who don't stay come anyway for a Singapore Sling at the Long Bar or afternoon tea.
