A low green hill in the middle of downtown, once the seat of an old Malay kingdom and later a colonial fort, so there's an old fort gate, a spice garden and huge heritage trees. The Instagram-famous 'Tree Tunnel' is a cylindrical shaft with a spiral staircase: look up and a single tree fills the round opening against the sky. People go down one at a time to shoot, so even at 7am there's a line.
