A private museum run by Samsung, with two buildings side by side. Museum 1 is a red-brick Mario Botta building holding old Korean art. Museum 2, a black metal Jean Nouvel building, shows contemporary art. The main draw is standing right in front of national-treasure ceramics and Buddhist paintings. The architecture rewards a slow walk inside and out. Afterwards, drift on to the cafés of Hannam-dong.
