A big backpacker hostel on Church Street, a block from the mall and the lake, among the pubs and restaurants. The location could not be better, and it has a sauna and a pool table, which few hostels do. With dorms and private rooms, it fills with solo travellers and people saving their money for the bungy or skydive. Nights are loud, so it is the wrong pick if you want quiet sleep.
